After dealing with them for the last 2 years they have done the unthinkable. They are claiming that we have an NSF check with them. The records that our bank provided to us state that the monies from that check was transferred to Aron's bank in their account. Aaron's has shown us a photo copy of the check with a simple NSF stamped across the front of it. No, this is not a copy of our check from their bank. However, they cannot provide us with anything else from their bank stating that this check is NSF.
After this initially took place I went into the store to make our regular monthly payment and they told us they could take the payment but not credit it to anything until we paid them the 1476.00 for the NSF check. This payment included the payoff of 2 of the items.
They have continued to call us, harassing us over the so called NSF check. We will not give them any more money until they credit us for that payment.
During the last 5 months before all this took place, we had reported twice monthly the things that were not working and defective. No one in the New Iberia stores acknowledges any of these complaints. During that period of time we were unable to use a laptop computer, the ice maker on the refrigerator was not working and our 200.00 per month dinning room set was falling apart.
A few months ago when I scheduled for them to pick up some of the items (that were non-ope ratable) they sent a driver named Ronnie here in their big truck. After the person in the truck with Ronnie told him numerous times as well as I telling him numerous times not to drive on my drive way because I have low lying power lines he drove on it anyway and popped the line that connects electricity to my security light. The one in the passengers seat of the delivery truck took photo's of the popped line and showed them to the store manager Heather and another associated, Kody in front of my husband and I in the store. I had also called Zeb after a few weeks that it had not been repaired to report the damage that was caused by their driver. They are yet to repair this also.
Today I made a phone call to Zeb in the New Iberia store. He asked when was I going to pay on my account. I informed him I would not be giving them any money because they were not going to credit my account. He stated to me, "your husband has not paid that NSF check and done nothing else to prove to me that it is good, we need to pick up the stuff". I informed him they could between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00p.m. tonight. But, I also asked him when they were going to repair the line that the driver Ronnie popped and Zeb's response to me was, "oh, now that we are on your a-- you are going to claim that we damaged your property.?" But then after a few sentences he states to me, "didn't Ronnie offer to come and fix it for you?" I told him Ronnie is not an electrician number one and number two you just told me that I had not reported this incident before now, you knew nothing of it.
When they had my cell phone number they were calling 12 to 17 times per day. I got a new cell number and refused to give it to them. Throughout all of this they have called our references that they claim they need to "only" establish a new account. They have called my home phone and got very cocky and rude with my children because we are not home. Kody has even used vulgar language with one of my minor children.
After spending well over 2,000.00 per month with Aaron's I am very pissed off. My husband and I are professionals who work hard for our money. We faithfully gave them their payments only to have them screw us. Now we will be out of our merchandise as well as the money.

It is sad that you do not even know the difference between a two story home and a trailer, remember at the house in which you damaged my power lines with the truck? People who spend that kind of money every month to furnish their homes do not live in trailers. But of course you cannot afford to spend that every month because you live in a_________ (it begins with a t and ends with an r). Go ahead "rm" tell everyone where and what you live in! And let them know that you are rent-to-owning your trailer as well. Get the chip off of your shoulders Ronnie, don't be the post calling the kettle black. |
